More About Us

Based in Luton, Bedfordshire, Lewsey Pentecostal Church is part of the Assemblies of God - a fellowship comprising more than 650 churches across the United Kingdom.

Founded in 1970, the church has a long history. What do we believe? Click here for our Statement of Faith.

Click here to learn more about the values that shape our mission. We believe church is more than a place — it's a community where no one is left on the outside. Membership begins with a personal commitment to Jesus Christ and a public declaration of His Lordship. We'd love to hear your story and share how you can be part of the exciting journey we're on together.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Join us every Sunday at 10am for a warm, family-friendly worship service. Experience uplifting live music and singing in a vibrant, contemporary atmosphere that's engaging yet peaceful.

About 90 minutes, depending on what the Holy Spirit has in store! Afterwards, we serve tea and coffee as we chat, have a laugh and encourage each other. The perfect place to connect and make new friends.

We are comfortable with modern worship songs and traditional hymns.

We aim to make all our services family-friendly, but we recognise that children need age-specific resources too, so our services include a dedicated parents room and children’s programme.

Parking on site is limited but there is ample free off-street parking available on Radnor Road. If you are visiting us for the first time, we are happy to reserve a space for your car on site.

When you visit Lewsey Pentecostal Church, you will notice people dressing casually, while others wear their 'Sunday best.' Either way, what matters most is that you wear whatever you feel comfortable in.

We do take up an offering during each service as part of our worship. The money supports all the operations of the church. We encourage our members to give regularly but please do not feel obligated to give as a visitor.

Absoutely! If you are feeling lost, hurting, and broken, we are happy to pray with you. Whatever your situation, there is someone to pray with you.

We regularly have communion (also known as The Eucharist or the Lord's supper). Normally this is held during our Sunday morning services.

We believe that everyone has a right to know that Jesus Christ is alive.
