Giving

Why Should We Give Generously?

Regular giving is a huge blessing to Lewsey Pentecostal Church – thank you for considering it!

Your financial support increases the reach and effectiveness of our mission in Luton and beyond.

Our God has set an amazing example of generosity to us by sending His Son to die for us. 'For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son...' (John 3:16). We see His generous nature throughout the Bible.

We believe that everything we have belongs to God. After all,  'The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it.' (Psalm 24:1). Everything we have has been entrusted to us to be managed faithfully. How we do this reveals the attitudes of our hearts. 'Where your treasure is, there your heart is also.' (Matthew 6:21)

Tithes and offerings allow us to put God first financially, giving back to Him that which He has entrusted to us.

The Pastor and Elders of Lewsey Pentecostal Church are fully committed to transparency, so we will always honour your gifts with faithful stewardship and accountability.

We make our financial statements freely available to view, and you are always welcome to contact our Finance Committee with general questions about our financial practices.

Whilst we take up an offering during each service as part of our worship and encourage our members to give, visitors should not feel obligated to give.

UK Tax Payers

Gift Aid is a UK government tax scheme enabling the Lewsey Pentecostal Church to reclaim tax paid on donations that we receive from UK taxpayers.

Donating with Gift Aid means we can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give. It won’t cost you any extra. All it takes is for you to complete a Gift Aid Form, place it in the offering basket and we'll do the rest!

Who can you contact if you need any help with giving?

Our church office is open to help you seven days a week! Just send an email to info@lewseycc.org or call 01582 475 104.
