Know More About Us

Lewsey Pentecostal Church is based in Luton, Bedfordshire. We are part of the Assemblies of God fellowship, made up of over 500 churches in the UK.

Founded in 1970, the church has a long and fruitful history. What do we believe? Click here for our Statement of Faith.

Click here for information about the values that underpin our mission. For us, church is a community, and no one should be left on the outside. Membership is based upon a personal commitment to Jesus and public confession that He is Lord. We’d love to hear some of your story, and let you know ways you could get involved in the adventure that is Lewsey Pentecostal Church.

WHAT TO EXPECT

We gather every Sunday for our family-friendly service at 10:00am. We enjoy live music and singing as part of our worship to God. Our church services are vibrant and contemporary, but certainly not noisy!

About 90 minutes, depending on what the Holy Spirit has in store! Afterwards, we serve tea and coffee as we chat, have a laugh and encourage each other. The perfect place to connect and make new friends.

We are comfortable with modern worship songs and traditional hymns.

We aim to make all our services family-friendly, but we recognise that children need age-specific resources too, so our services include a dedicated parents room and children’s programme.

Parking on site is limited but there is ample free off-street parking available on Radnor Road. If you are visiting us for the first time, we are happy to reserve a space for your car on site.

When you visit Lewsey Pentecostal Church, you will notice people dressing casually, while others wear their 'Sunday best.' Either way, what matters most is that you wear whatever you feel comfortable in.

We do take up an offering during each service as part of our worship. The money supports all the operations of the church. We encourage our members to give regularly but please do not feel obligated to give as a visitor.

Absoutely! If you are feeling lost, hurting, and broken, we are happy to pray with you. Whatever your situation, there is someone to pray with you.

We regularly have communion (also known as The Eucharist or the Lord's supper). Normally this is held during our Sunday morning services.

We believe that everyone has a right to know that Jesus Christ is alive.
